Bailey

Welcome into the world little Bailey, he is the first little boy to Alisha. He was born on the 27th of June and he is so tiny. I have a photo I took of him at 2 days old that I will upload to show. He is a healthy baby boy and only weighed 6lb 8 oz....
It is so strange to hold a new born baby and it made me soooo clucky and I never really feel this way. I think it really hit me when I got to give him a bottle and he fed so slowly and did not drink much, but it reminded me of Jamie and I started to think about all those wonderful baby moments.... You never know one day I might be blessed with a little bundle of joy again but it is not really looking too promising...
I actually went in my scrapbooking room and had a look at a few goodies that I have bought over the weeks but just seem to put them in my room and not touch them. I had a bit of a play around with my first ever sketch layout that I did at Scrapbooks Etc with Lyndal a few weeks ago and it is looking good and I am happy with it. They are photos of Bailey and it is an absolute gorgeous layout using green wild asparagus papers etc. I promised Lyndal I will bring it in to show her when they get back from CHA and they are back so I thought I had better get a move on, cant wait to show her.

Been awhile

It again has been awhile, life is just so hectic! There is so much going on and just cant seem to keep up..... Matthew has settled down and going to work everyday without any hassels, which is great! Charlene loves her new job, it has been a bit of a disappoinment her deferring from UNI but what can I do? She enjoys her job and she loves the income!
Katrina has started full time work and she is so busy packing and getting ready to move, it has definitely been different not talking to her everyday. I will admit that I do miss her..... You get use to talking and finding out what is going on in each of our lives everyday. Nikki has also been busy with Lyndal and Susan away at CHA, but they are back today and we have managed to make a day to get together before she goes away to Townsville...

Nikki rang me yesterday to tell me that For Keeps No 45 was finally out and my layout is in there on a page of it's own! It looks fantastic! This is the layout again, just love it so I thought I would share again.
For Keeps contacted me about my 'Brampton Island' layout and it will now be published in Number 46. They were suppose to be in the same mag but that is okay at least it is still going in.

Have decided to do the 'Everyday Moments' album, as I really need to get some motivation. I have been down in the dumps for so long and have done NO scrapping for weeks, so to get me out of this slump I really need something to work on......
Well I need to go and ring Katrina and let her know we got some goddies in the mail today....

Scrapbooking Memories Vol 7 No 12

Katrina messaged me today to tell me she received her magazine in the mail, so the mag is finally out. Have not been able to find it in any newsagency, but hope Underwood will have it tomorrow and I will buy one there...
Today was a long day at work, which really sucked. But had an afternoon with Matthew and took him shopping for a new pair of shoes. Then we went to Target to check out the sale and put Jamie's Christmas presents on layby. YEH finally a start to the xmas shopping...

This is a photo I took the other day experimenting with my new camera, I cant believe how clear the photo is. Jamie is becoming a real poser now, he loves to stand near trees or poles and pose. Well off to watch Big Brother, than to go and spend some time with my husband.

Oh I forgot to say WOOOOO HOOOOO Queensland won last night, State of Origin. Was a great game but definitely a nail biter, and definitely some bad decisions made by the refs. But was a great win and a great night..... Good LUCK Broncos for Friday night......

My Winning Layout

Well I have been waiting for the new Scrapbooking Memories vol 7 No 12 to come out anytime soon, as I have my winning layout 'Ponder in that issue. I was so excited to get the phone call to say that my layout has won runner up in the 'Canon Advanced Simplicity' competition. So I thought I should share my news straight away and rang my 2 closest friends and tell them. I think I was nearly jumping through the phone, and poor them to have to listen to me screaming down the other end of the phone. But what are friends for right, as these are both scrapbookers too they were both excited about my news. I only had to wait a week and received my prize.

So this is the photo of the awesome package I received from Canon, how lucky am I....

And this is the layout I entered into the competition "PONDER". This is a very simple layout of Jamie sitting by the water. It always makes me wonder "what you are thinking" "what goes on in that mind of yours"
