New Life

This weekend I have been moving my scrapbooking room into Charlene's old bedroom, wow it has so much more room. I threw out so much paper, cardstock and bits and pieces, I cant believe I had so much stuff. But I have nearly finished organising the room but need to find a new display bookshelf. Cant wait to get it finished and have it looking the way I want it. Once I have my room up and running I will take some photos.

After organising my room I have been busy scrapping and done this layout using buttons for Scrapbook Cities first Cyber Crop. I cant believe it came together so easily, I just love the look of it and the colours. It is a layout of Bailey at 2 weeks old, I am doing an album for Alisha. I have used Wild Asparagus papers as it goes perfectly with his little lime green outfit.

Jamies new hearing aides

Well we have been back to the specialists and Jamie had to be fitted for new hearing aides, the others were getting a bit small. So I thought that I would take a few photos of Jamie getting fitted for the hearing aides and having a hearing test. Still not happy with the camera yet, I dont know what I am doing but will keep on trying.

For Keeps 46

This is my layout that will be published in the new For Keeps, how exciting 2 magazines in a row. This layout is the front page of my honeymoon album, a very simple layout but one they picked.
I have not tried to submit any layouts for awhile as I have not been scrapping but hope that I can get some done and have some show and tell.

My girl is moving out!

So much has gone on and I have not been on here at all. But the sad news is that my little girl has grown up and has decided it is time for her to move out. So today is the day that she moves in there own rental house, her and her boyfriend of 4 years. There has been plenty of tears and wishing that she would not go, but there is nothing more I can do. We are going over there soon to have a look. So I will try to remember my camera and take a few photos....
Also it is Scrapbook Cities first Cyber Crop and I cant wait to take on a challenge or two. I have not been doing much scrapping at all and the ones I have done I cannot share with you as I might enter them into the FK awards for Excellence. But as soon as I decide which ones I will upload some layouts.
So much has gone on, I just dont know where to begin or if I really want to talk about it. I have been so stressed and crying for days but today I just want to enjoy my husbands birthday and try to forget about the problems.
OH and I forgot to say that I gave 2 weeks notice at work today, wow yes a bit of a shock but one that had to be done. I will be a SAHM for awhile and can catch up on the housework and the cleaning out of cupboards ect that have not been done for awhile. Do you believe that I have been there for nearly 3 years, I only went there to help pay for our wedding and just stayed for the extra pocket money that I had to spend on scrapbooking...

Bailey at 2 weeks

Wow it has been so long since I put a post up and I found these new photos of Bailey and thought I would show them. He is so cute, have not seen him in a few weeks but I bet he has grown even more!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Baby!!

It's my darling husbands birthday today, sorry you have to go to work. But I have planned for a few people to come over for drinks and dinner tonight, nothing much since he has been at work all day. Me and Jamie got up early to give Andrew his presents before he went to work. He was very happy, and as usual Jamie is so excited to help unwrap the presents. Too early in the morning to take photos!

Ok I left this post in my drafts folder and found it as I was suppose to upload a photo. Well here is my hubby, look how happy he looks. This is him playing the playstation with one of his several games we bought him.

Suprise EMAIL

You would not believe it but I got the most awesome surprise email today from a very special friend SHARON who I have not seen or had any contact with since January 1999. Wow so many years have past and so much has happened in both our lives. Can you believe it we both got married in the same year just a few months apart, would have been so nice to have her at my wedding. And the most awesome news is she has become a MUM yes to a beautiful little girl Madison, and I mean she is gorgeous! Wow I am so excited for her and that she has a beautiful happy life and she deserves it too.
She is living in Sydney now and is planning on moving back to Brisbane next year, so that would be so cool to actually catch up again.
