Term 2 Week 8 Challenge
This weeks challenge was to do a layout on a Friend or Friends, using NO patterned paper, must have stitching and doodling. We recently had photos taken of Lyndal, Nikki and I and straight away I knew exactly what photo I was doing. These two girls are who I get most of my inspiration from and love to pop into the shop and Lyndal is always there to give me plenty of advice. The name of the layout "Perfectly Blended" was the perfect name as I know we are just that in so many ways it is amazing.....As most of you know I have been friends with Nikki for a couple of years now and we still get together everyweek to scrap and go out shopping to coffee etc our friendship has grown so much and am very glad to call her my friend....
So here is the layout!
Well while I was finishing off this layout on Saturday night I cut the tip of my finger, OMG I thought it nearly cut the whole tip off, but thank god it was only about half way through. Blood was everywhere and it would not stop bleeding, Andrew had to help me and finally we got it bandaged up to stop the bleeding. I started feeling queezy and went and lied down for a bit. I forgot about my layout, at first when I saw the layout it had NO blood on it but after lying down for a bit I went back and the layout was kind of sitting in a pool of blood and had seeped through. So I had to do a major fix up on it, I did not have time to start again as I had already spent hours stitching the damn thing. So I cut the top off and had to add another piece to it at the top. I only had a couple of rows to re-stitch. So you can notice what I have done, but maybe later I can re-do it or try and fix it better but I just dont have time right now.

Great LO Brenda - all that stitching - your finger probably deliberately got cut to get away from the sewing!!!
