Reality Scrap Challenge 3

Well as most of you know we made it into the next round...

What a challenge this week was and definitely out of my comfort zone, I wanted embellishments!!! Everything I wanted to add I had to put back! I was not too concerned not having to use PP as I have done plenty without it, it was just the embellishment thing that got ME. We had to make an embellishment out of cardstock and of course I made a Library Pocket... have not made one of these for ages, remember I use to add them to so many of my layouts!

This week my photo is of Andrew, and I used lyrics from a song that means alot to us both! I have had a few rocky months and I know that Andrew has been there for me and definitely MY STRENGTH when times have been very tough!

So this is my interpretation of this weeks challenge....
I have used a scolloped edge heart, but to give it more texture I wet and crumpled it. I love how it turned out! For not having many embellishments on it I think I am happy with it... I was able to use brads and staples to attach my journaling and I also used stitching to sew my heart on.

The journaling reads:
When walls come crashing down
You bring me peace
You calm me down
You're my release
When trouble fills my world
You light my way
You're my relief

In the library pocket is hidden journaling explaining my reasons for the journaling and what it means to ME!!!
