Weekly Update

YAH, we have made it through to another round of Reality Scrap. Sadly we had to say goodbye this week to Chilli - Tanya and Lauren, this was quite a shock as they both do gorgeous work. The comp seems to be getting harder and harder and everyone has a different style and I really think now it will depend on the challenge for that week.

Well this weeks challenge was set by Katie - OMG I am still trying to come to terms with the guidelines on this one. Use a minimum of 3 cardstock, at least one bling or one fancy bazzill, NO Patterned Paper, 1 hand made embellishment made from bazzill and you can only use ink, paint, and rub-ons on this, journaling and the title is to be handcut... You can use NO other embellishments only brads, stitching or staples to attach your layout... WOW hey, this is going to kill me! The hand cutting of the title is not a problem because I use to do this all the time and I suppose I use to make embellishments all the time too and now just so lazy and buy it. So the layout is coming together nicely, just trying to do something different to it to give it a little dimension.

Have caught up on all the housework today, who in their right minds leave their ironing for months. YEP ME.... I had 2 massive baskets of it and outfits in there I received for Christmas presents and I am sure I have only worn these once and have been sitting in the ironing basket ever since.... Pretty BAD hey! But it is all done and so glad to see that big basket gone from my bedroom! Wonder if Andrew notices when he gets home!

We had a busy weekend, trying to get out more as a family. Do you believe though I never took my camera with me once, I never even thought about it until we were out and even than Stephen was the one that asked me where was my camera!

We took Jamie bowling on Saturday night they have unlimited bowling from 9 till midnight for only $16. This is the first time I have bowled in years and we all had a great time, I even got 4 strikes for the night. Jamie gets very excited about it so we have decided to inquire about him joining a bowling league. Want to try one for Children with disabilities first, it is just that Jamie cant bowl that good and some kids and parents take their sports quite serious. But I think this will be a good thing for Jamie to get into and to get him out of the house more!

So sorry NO photos of layouts to share yet but hopefully by tomorrow I would have finished my layout for this weeks challenge..
